Circle labels are normally seen on bottles, essential oils, baked goods, candies, and other specialty products. Choose between singles (formerly known as cut-to-size labels) or hundreds in roll format. If you need an exact size for your custom round labels, a wider range of dimensions are available for the roll type. Print on high-quality premium paper, plastic, and textured material to ensure your products look classy and professional.

How to Create the Custom Round Labels for Your Brand 

elect the label type based on your quantity and application method. 

Singles are individually cut and are more manageable in quantities below 250. Ideal for those applying the labels by hand on their packaging or container. If you need to order hundreds to thousands of singles labels, add shrink wrapping to organize them in sets of 50. 

Roll labels fit in most label dispensers and are recommended for those applying them rapidly on hundreds of items. You can order a minimum of 100 roll labels, but you save more with a bulk printing order.  

Print on a material that will protect your design. Choose a material that will protect the round label’s designs in its storage conditions. The 70 lb. label in matte, gloss or high-gloss UV is normally used on items on an aisle or window display. It is not recommended for anything that will be exposed outdoors or to water.   

The 4mils. white vinyl in high-gloss (UV) is built for both indoor and outdoor use. The singles variation is waterproof and protects your design from fading. Any orders above 250 for this material are also hot water-resistant. 

All BOPP types for roll round labels can be refrigerated. All options are tear-proof, waterproof, oil, and chemical resistant. Perfect for food and beverage items you chill for future consumption. 

The textured variations are normally seen on items like wine and other alcoholic beverages. These are water-resistant and recommended for luxury or gourmet brands. It’s also recommended for anything that will be refrigerated, although it is not as tearproof once submerged in water. 

Download a layout template or create your round label design online. Use any of the available templates and open them in your preferred design software. All formats include the guidelines that ensure all details come out once in print.

The Keys to Designing a Round Label 

Don’t bother with a border. If you want to highlight the circle shape, add a colored or distinct background to the circle. This can contrast the color of your container or make your name stand out even more. 

Don’t add another circle inside your circle. It’s redundant and doesn’t do much for your overall look. Keep the design-focused so that your brand comes out clear and clean. 

Make sure your label file includes the bleed, caution line, and trim line. These ensure that no detail is left out when printing your design. You can download our layout templates and use them with your preferred design software for accurate printing.

Round Labels FAQs 

What are the best sizes to use for print-to-the-edge design?? 

All sizes can be designed to have a solid colored or central image as the round label’s background. But larger sizes such as the 4” x 4” under the singles and the 6” x 6” available for roll will provide a more distinct print-to-edge design on your label. 

What print materials are waterproof for my round labels?? 

The 4 mil. white vinyl is waterproof and the most durable against outdoor elements. Its UV-coated material allows the design to last throughout indoor and outdoor use. 

BOPP is both tear and waterproof. Plus, it’s oil and chemical resistant, which makes it perfect for beverages and food stored inside your refrigerator. 

Can I reapply my round labels?? 

Most of the available materials have a permanent adhesive that is hard to remove. This means the white premium sticker paper, indoor white BOPP, silver metallic, clear, and rainbow holographic BOPP, textured options, 70 lb. label, and 4 mil. white vinyl will be damaged and leave a residue when removed. 

If you need a label that can be reapplied, we suggest printing in white BOPP (removable) under the roll type. You can apply, remove, and reapply your labels made in this material if you get it wrong the first time.  

How?to choose the correct?size of?the round label I need for my product?? 

If you have a printer at home or in your office, we suggest printing out the layout templates of your estimated round label size. Cut along the trim size and then apply them over the container. From there, you can take the measurements needed for your design or see if it's an exact fit. 

Another way would be to look at bottles, containers, jars, and other similar products with round labels. Use a ruler or measuring tape to estimate the exact size of their round labels.
