Feather Flags

We will print as close as possible to the color you use on your artwork which you need to submit online. We follow a CMYK color system for printing and request that your artwork has a 250-300 DPI resolution for optimal printing. There are also templates available for the size you select near the bottom of the page so you may follow our bleed and safe zone requirements. 

No. That is just to make sure the customer is aware of the area between the safe zone and trim line so that no design element will be placed there since it will wrap around the telescopic pole. It will not print black but what ever background color you have for your artwork..

There are no instructions but depending on the size, you have three or four telescopic poles that you need to connect to one another. The thinnest is slight curved and will easily insert into the sleeve of the feather flags. Then depending on the kind of base you choose, it is easy to put together and secure so that it won't fall over.

Just keep the background white (there will be no ink coverage) and insert your work using the template as a guide. What is important is the artwork is sized exactly to your order size and should have a resolution of 250-200 DPI for optimal printing. Also keep the artwork within the safe zone so none of your design elements are inadvertently cut.

Normally three or four of these telescopic poles are needed to assemble the spine of the flag and they are not all the same length exactly. They would measure almost 4 feet long each so your bag would need to be of the same length. We do have options for a carrying case but these are just made of Nylon and are suitable for being hand carried.
