It should always be CMYK so you may have an idea of the contrast in the colors of the artwork when you design. It is also the color system most online printers use in production so if you do submit in RGB, the file will be converted to CMYK first before we print. Most computer screens are set up as RGB and even if you convert to CMYK, what you see won't necessarily translate to the actual color of the print outs. However, it will certainly be closer than if you use an RGB system in your design. That is one major factor why we cannot guarantee a 100% color match.
Once a stock is laminated, it is not recommended for writing on. However, we notice that ball point pens and sharpies adhere better to these kind of surfaces if they need to be written on.
Definitely. It should be in the Orders and Proofs tab under your account. There is a reorder button to place the order quickly but if you need to change the artwork or any details on the file, you will need to give us a call to make sure it is taken cared of.
Yes, you may. As long as you do not approve the proof, changes may still be made. If you disapprove the proof online, there should be an option that appears for you to replace the artwork. It will then give you the option to request for a new proof. If you have any difficulties or want to provide instructions, please give us a call at 888.888.4211 or engage the live chat.
If you have the same design kept in a PDF format, you may upload this and we can print as is.
If you are designing from scratch, we would encourage you to use the Design Tool option by following the attached steps:
- Select the 2" x 3.5"' option (which is the standard sized business card but you may choose your original size) on the Product Page for the Standard Business Card.
- Fill out all the other specifications like Paper Type, Quantity and Printing Time.
- After this, click on "Create Your Design Online" located underneath the specification area and it will give you a canvass of the exact size of the business card you selected.
- Click on the "ABC" Icon and a text box will appear where you can type in the wording you need.There are icons there you may click on that will automatically center the text or align it in the way you need it. You may even drag the entire sentence to the area you need it to be.The menu also allows you to choose the font type, size and color of your text. You may also choose the color of the background or if you want it to remain white.
- You may insert a logo from your PC or the QR code you mentioned. (Please test the QR Code on your screen to see if it works).
- Once you are happy with the design, save and the system will ask you to create an account . Your artwork will appear in My Saved Designs tab.
- Check out and place the order.
