Step and Repeat Banners

The file specifications look proportional but the type of artwork and resolution will be factors if that will print optimally.  We can certainly accept the TIFF file and  you may upload that. Select the free proof option so our Prepress Department may take a look and send you a PDF proof with comments on any issue they detect. This will allow you to check the proof first before making a decision to place the order.  

The normal way is to create the design on a Design Appplication (Illustrator or PhotoShop depending on the file quality) and saving it as a PDF file. Upload the file and we will print as you have designed.

If you want to use our Design Tool. (It is important you have a high resolution file copy of each logo on your PC. We would suggest the following: 

1. Finalize the size dimension of the Step and Repeat Banner and other specifications in the Pricing Tool (material, printed side, quantity and printing time).  It is important you do not change these specifications once you start designing as any changes done later on will result in you starting from scratch.
2. Click on  "Create Your Design Online" located underneath the specification area and it will give you the canvas of the exact size of the banner. A pop up will also appear asking you how you would want the orientation to be (Portrait or Landscape). Make a selection.
3. Click on the "Text" Icon and a text box will appear where you can type in the wording you need.There are icons there you may click on that will automatically center the text or align it in the way you need it. You may even drag the entire sentence to an area you need it to be.The menu also allows you to choose the font type, size and color of your text. You may also choose the color of the background or if you want it to remain white.
4. You can insert each logo from your PC on to the canvas.
5. Once you are happy with how the design is laid out, save it.
6. Check out and place the order.

If you have any difficulties in navigating the Design Tool, our Customer Support Representatives will be able to help you set up a design which you may duplicate and modify as you go along.

Also, if you need to duplicate the row of labels from top to bottom of the banner, you can just do one row and save your artwork. Then give us a call to give instructions for our Prepress Team to repeat the row of labels throughout the banner. This is a common request which we will be able to help you with as inserting each logo to fill up every line of the entire banner may be a little tedious. Ask for a free PDF proof which we will email to you to ensure that the artwork is laid out properly. You will need to approve this before the job goes into production.  Our lines are open 24 a days during weekdays and during office hours on weekends.

All the artwork you place within the 8' x 10' banner will be printed. As a matter of process, we require just a 1/8" bleed (outside of the trim line) if you wish your background to print to the edge. Inversely, we would also require you to place all your important design elements 1/8" inside the trim line as a safe zone. We will provide the extra material outside of the 8' x 10' banner needed for the pole pockets.If you wish for us to extend the printing of your background to that extra space (which is around 4.5" on each side), this may be arranged with proper coordination. Please give us a call before the order is placed to speak to a file specialist to ensure this will be included in your invoice which our production team will follow.

One of the most commonly ordered sizes for this product is the 8ft x 8 ft and 8 ft x 10 ft sizes. However, it would be best for you to measure the area you need the banner to cover and then create your design to fill that size.

You can create you own unique design that can have different sizes of logos and text, we will print it as you submit. You just need to make sure the artwork has at least 250-300 DPI and the file size is the same as your desired order size for optimal printing results.
