Keep Food Fresh and Standing Out With Branded Restaurant Packaging
When it comes to restaurant takeout or delivery, your customer’s sight is the first to taste. You need to invest in restaurant packaging that effectively showcases your brand’s image and offerings while also keeping the meal or baked items inside fresh. Choose from a variety of packaging choices that fits any budget, product, and design. Create designs for your custom boxes or sturdy paper bags from scratch. Update any empty containers with packaging labels or sleeves. Not sure how or where to begin? Use this guide to upgrade your custom restaurant packaging.
Which Restaurant Packaging Supplies Best Suit Your Needs?
Starting from scratch and delivering ingredients or special gourmet items? Is your restaurant selling ready-to-cook products or other items that need to be in food packaging boxes for restaurants? Order and design custom boxes that can fit different-sized products.
The following options are available in sturdy corrugated cardboard built for long-distance deliveries or takeout.
- Mailer Boxes are built to fit and present a variety of items upon opening. The products will be laid flat, making them ideal for baked goods or specialty items exclusive to your restaurants like jams, spreads, or spices. We also recommend them for cooking kits that let customers safely consume your items.
- Shipping Boxes come in sizes meant for large items delivered in bulk. We recommend this packaging for restaurants that deliver their stock across different branches.
Are you rebranding your takeout and delivery menu offerings? Create a new set of paper bags that customers or delivery persons can use even after having the meal. All bags are made of eco-friendly paper and come in brown (Kraft) or white.
If you want to include food samples for consumers to try with each order, seal these edibles in stand-up or flat pouches. Perfect for smaller quantity snacks or specialty products specific to your business.
Need to decorate plain boxes, plastic containers, and another similar packaging? Print a set of custom labels that are easy to apply on boxes, pouches, plastic packages, and other similar containers. Choose between individual cut-to-size labels that you can apply by hand. If you’re preparing a bulk order, print your labels in rolls that fit most automatic label dispensers.
Packaging sleeves are recommended for ready-made meals that require refrigeration or box sets that will be delivered straight to your customers. You can combine several widths and heights fit for your design. All sleeves are printed on sturdy 100 lb. paper and come with an optional peel and seal adhesive for a stickier application.
How to Achieve an Excellent Restaurant Packaging Design
Refer to your brand identity. Apply visual elements found across your other marketing collaterals and materials. At the same time, make sure the overall design appeals to your customer’s profile and showcases the image you want them to remember about your restaurant.
Use materials that will prolong the shelf life of your food. Whether taking out food or sending through delivery, the packaging material should keep the food items and fresh. Otherwise, you defeat the purpose of having custom restaurant packaging.
Keep it simple. Stick to complementary colors and highlight a central detail. Putting too much information will throw off customers and remove their attention from your custom restaurant packaging. Newer businesses can highlight their logo and include essential information such as branch locations or contact details. Focusing on crucial information also suggests what customers can do the next time they want to order from your food business.
