Ordered 2,000 matte...
May 5, 2018 by Sfsc
“Ordered 2,000 matte labels. They sent glossy. Customer service said to take a picture of the "shine" so they could confirm they were glossy. I did that, but now they've said they need me to mail back a sample to confirm. Their customer service is taking about 24 hours to respond between emails, even if I respond immediately, so the process is moving very slowly. I am wondering how dumb they think their customers are, that they can't tell the difference between matte and glossy. I tried uprinting on the advice of one of my manufacturers, and now I'm either going to be a week behind on my shipment, or I'll have to send my product out with different labels. I would avoid them.”
The photos make...

“The photos make it look like card stock, but it's really just regular copy paper (literally). Also, the size of the sleeves shown in the product photo are not available. The photos make it look like maybe 3/4-1" in height, but 2 inches is the smallest you can get. The colors were also a disappointment. "Red" is a common color, but even submitted as CMYK, it turned out rust-orange, and the solid color I had submitted was delivered as a graduated blend of a lighter orange to darker going from top to bottom. There was also a huge discrepancy between the number of sleeves received between my two orders. They were both requested as 250 but one order arrived with double the amount, and there was a white border on one that wasn't on the other. The packaging was also horrible, with the sleeves being thrown loose inside a large box, with brown paper filling up the space. Many of the sleeves were bent and some were ripped. Why weren't they shrink-wrapped to protect them before putting them in the box for shipment? My cost was $60 for each order including shipping, and that was about $55 too much for what I received.”
I can't believe...

“I can't believe this is the only place I could find packaging sleeves. I received horrendous customer service, it took me over 2 hours just to place an order due to a height requirement they didn't offer standard, and then every person I spoke to further confused the job. I felt like I was from a different planet.”

February 8, 2016 by Dits
“I have placed two orders for sleeves. The first one I made a mistake on and sent it back to them. The second order I placed as for what I need, but they sent me pieces of paper instead of sleeves and now they are giving me a hard time about sending my correct order.”

Q:
The packaging sleeves without "peel and seal" came with the ends sticked or is it only a rectangular piece of paper? Thanks
Asked 5 days ago by Felipe
A:

You would need to gum or glue the ends together on your end without the Peel and Seal feature. Your artwork will need to have an extra 1/2" for this purpose where you can't print anything on as this will be where the overlap on the other end will be attached.

Q:
What size sleev to order for a large gift boxes that measure 13" L x 10"w x 3"D. what size sleeve should I order?
Asked 15 days ago by Michelle B.
A:

That will depend on how you intend to wrap the packaging sleeve around the box. Customers have used the sleeve to go around either the shorter or longer end depending on how the box is presented  and how it is opened. What we would recommend is cut out a piece of paper and simulate how the sleeve will cover the box. It might take a few tries but it will help you finalize the size and from there design your artwork and other information you need to lay out on the packaging sleeve itself. Just remember to leave a 1.5" extra space on the lenght of the sleeve that will be used to put the adhesive on and  seal the two edges together. You should leave that area as a "no print zone" as the edge of the sleeve will overlap on this space.

Q:
Are the mate material food-safe freezer ?
Asked 15 days ago by Laura B.
A:

The 100 lb paper material is not specifically graded for food packaging and cannot be exposed to wet conditions. We have other products like Deli Papers that are designed specifically for contact with food.

Q:
Why only 2 dimensions?
Asked a month ago by William P.
A:

The sleeve only binds the box either top to bottom or left to right so we only use width and legth.

Q:
How do I know what size of sleeve to purchase. Can you guide me on the correct way to measure my box so the sleeve fits nicely ?
Asked 2 months ago by Stephanie R.
A:

The best way is to first simulate the Packaging Sleeve with a piece of paper and then measure what you have after it wraps around your box or product. Your piece of paper should simulate both length and width of your sleeve. Its important to add another half an inch on each lenght-wise end which needs to overlap as you will need to gum or glue on your end to seal the wrap in place. We do have the peel and seal feature to do this on our end. However, please note this will substantially add to the cost of printing.
