Q:
hello my box is 8" L x 5" W x 3" H. I am unsure if the sleeves will fit vertically or horizontally on the box? not sure what size to order
Asked 3 months ago by Susan C.
A:

The best way to move forward is to cut a strip of paper and simulate the packaging sleeve you want to use. Once you decide on this, measure the strip and that will be your guide for the order size and the design you will create.  Normally boxes are wrapped on the shorter side. However, it really depends on how you want the box to be presented. If you wrap the shorter side (5"), you would need a width of around 16.5" and at least 2" high (it could be more depending on your presentation). The extra half an inch there is so you can overlap the other end and glue it to secure the sleeve.

If you want to go with the the 8" side, you would need to order a width of around 24.5".

For bleed requirements on your design, you need to extend your artwork 1/8" outside the trim line so that it will print right to the edge. The artwork should also have a 250-300 DPI resolution for optimal printing.

Q:
After you have printed these sleeves, can I put these sleeves in my laser printer to add custom one-off printing (Such as the name of the contents)?
Asked 4 months ago by Amanda
A:

We cannot guarantee how effective a printer will work on these sleeves as they come in either matte or gloss coating. What we could recommend is you use the 70 lb Uncoated Paper whch you can configure in the same size of the packaging sleeves using our Custom Printing link.

Q:
Can I receive a custom template for a 2.5"x25" band?
Asked 5 months ago by Bryce H.
A:

We have sent you a template to your email. Please take note that your images need to have a 250-300 DPI resolution. As you will see, to have a bleed you need to extend  your artwork 1/8" (0.125") outside the trim line.

Q:
Is pricing dependent on the number of colors in the artwork to be printed?
Asked 6 months ago by Kate K.
A:

We charge the same for full color or black and white printing.

Q:
How much will you charge for a common color foil stamp 7.8 x 4.7"?
Asked 6 months ago by Aaron P.
A:

That is doable but will be a Custom job. Please create an account and give a call to speak to a Custom representative so they may provide an official quote.
