Mary Morris-Solomon of MaryGold Tales shares:

"After having to temporarily close my esthetics business because of COVID-19 last spring, I started drawing and creating illustrations again for friends and family to bring happiness during this difficult time. In just a few months it grew into drawing full time and MaryGold Tales just organically happened."

Mary went to school to be an art teacher but was sidetracked and instead worked as an esthetician. As the world shut down, she turned to art and started drawing people's homes, a lot of them for local realtors.

"I believe there's a rainbow in every situation, this journey is my rainbow."

Books That Bind is a non-profit organization that donates books to Child Protective Courthouses. Every time a child attends a hearing, they are able to pick out a book and take it home. The books give the children something to look forward to, it fosters bonding with family through stories, and helps improve their literacy rates.
