Die-cut business card printing: Out of the box marketing that works.

It’s easy to stand out from the rest with die-cut business cards. UPrinting’s die-cut business cards come in a variety of interesting shapes, perfect for making that first contact with your client more memorable. Customers who get a well-designed die-cut business card are far more likely to remember you than if you gave them a traditional rectangular card. The variety of die-cut shapes we offer also makes it possible to better match different brands and logos.

UPrinting offers an assortment of standard and custom shapes and sizes for die-cut business cards. You can go with a traditional style or opt for a unique look. Choose one that fits your needs best. Standard sizes and shapes for die-cut business cards include:

  • 2” x 3.5”, 2” x 2”, and 1.75 x 3.5” rounded corners
  • 2” x 3.5” leaf; 2” x 3.5” single rounded corner
  • 2” x 3.5” half-circle, 2” x 3.5” oval, and 2.5” circle

Choose from two standard choices for business cards:

Are you a small business owner looking to expand your network? Don’t let a practical budget stop you from exuding professionalism. Custom printing die-cut business cards can help you build awareness for your brand.

  • Print on the standard, lightweight 14 pt. cardstock that’s easy to carry and hand out. Apply matte, gloss or high gloss coating for an enhanced smooth texture.

  • Need a material that’s slightly thicker than the standard? The 16 pt. cardstock has a little more weight than the 14 pt. Its higher quality brings out the colors on vivid designs with a gloss or matte finish. For a more premium finish, choose silk, or soft touch. You may even opt for cardstock with antibacterial coating.

Die-cut business cards can be printed on the front or both sides and can be ready to ship in as soon as 2 business days.

This range of shapes and sizes makes custom die-cut business cards a great choice for professionals in all industries. Artists, designers, and other creative fields especially benefit from uniquely shaped business cards. Businesses with a seal or round logo can also use circle business cards as a classic alternative to rectangular cards.

With UPrinting’s online printing services, you can create die-cut business cards that meet your marketing needs. Upload your print-ready file or create your artwork using our online design tool. You can start with a free PDF proof to ensure that all the elements in your artwork meet technical requirements for printing.

“This has been a disaster from the start. I ordered 4 sets of 1,000 custom-cut business cards, providing all necessary details upfront—logos, colors, fonts, QR codes, and contact info—back in early December. It’s now mid-February, and I still don’t have my cards. The company repeatedly mismatched names, addresses, phone numbers, and QR codes. Each time, I had to painstakingly mark corrections and send detailed error reports. Their system only allows approval or editing one card at a time, which didn’t work for my order. Calling customer service (which routes overseas) was useless, and the chatbot was no better. Even email support repeatedly failed me. Now, my cards are delayed again because they were shipped to a P.O. Box instead of a physical address—an address I was never asked for. When I called today to have them held at FedEx, they changed the address instead, causing a three-day delay and extra charges. I feel like I have gone over and beyond, yet I’m still dealing with this mess. The only reason I am still dealing with them is with each correction, I cant even imagine another issue but somehow, they are creative that way.”

“Die-cut was not clean, paper was yellowish and the size was much smaller than the last one we had made.”
Won’t be buying business cards from here.

“These cards are just bad. I was hopping for the “normal” standard size and instead they are thinner and longer. Which makes them look horrible. They are also very thin, paper material, they break so easily. I’ve order cards before from another company and they are amazing I didn’t think these were going to look this bad and almost for the same price. I won’t be ordering cards from here.”
Large Ugly Margin Around Artwork on Die-cut Cards

“When I received the proof, I asked if they could make the artwork cover more of the area of the card. They said no, because that was where the card was cut. I received the cards, and they have an ugly large white margin around the entire outside perimeter. I will be ordering from another company next time.”

Q:
Hi, would you guys be able to do a vector sparkle shape business card? If so, is there an option to get a "sample" of the business card. I am a small business starting out and would love to get a sample, to determine if it is what i am looking for.
Asked 4 months ago by bryanna b.
A:

We would need to take a look at the shape if it is not too complex. Please set up an account and give us a call so we can check and send you a quote if it is doable. On the cardstock we use, please order our free Standard Offset Sample Kit. These will include actual Business cards and almost all the materials we use for them, including Gloss, Matte, Uncoated, UV coated and even with the silk soft touch coating for foil stamped cards.

Q:
Can you do a key shape or a house? This is for a real estate agent.
Asked 5 months ago by Jgreenup24@yahoo.com
A:

Yes, we can do those shapes that you need to indicate on the artwork. Using a dotted line or an additional layer are the options to indicate the die cut shape when you upload your file.  To get pricing on this, you need to scroll down to "Custom" on the option for Shape. Then type in the maximum width and height of your card along with the rest of the specifications indicated (Paper Type, Printed Side, etc).  We would advise requesting a free PDF proof before the job goes to print to make sure the shape is exactly what you have in mind.

Q:
Can you design business card directly from the logo match the exact shape? Then print contact info on the back?
Asked 8 months ago by Jorge m.
A:

Yes, we can do that as long as the shape of your logo is not too intricate. You would need to submit the exact artwork in the shape of your logo. Indicate the shape by using a dotted line or perhaps another layer on top of the text you require on your artwork. To process the order, create an account on our website and give us a call to speak to a custom representative so he can send you a quote.

Q:
Can you do 3 x 3 shape of Texas as a business card
Asked 8 months ago by Socar
A:

That would be possible as a custom shape. You would need to provide the artwork including the dieline of the state of Texas in the exact size you need it to be. You would also need to create an account online and then give us a call to speak to a Custom Representative for a quote.

Q:
Hi, do you guys offer a butterfly shape?
Asked a year ago by Teja
A:

Yes, we can do a die cut for that. There are a few options for this but this will be a custom job. Please set up an account online and give us a call to speak to a Custom Representative so that they can send you an official quote.
