Clothing Hang Tag Sizes and Materials
Custom printing clothing hang tags lets you personalize your brand with a wide range of options. Garment swing tags are printed on durable cardstocks that do not easily tear or crease:
- 14 pt. cardstock – gloss, matte, high gloss (UV), high gloss (UV) front/uncoated back, uncoated
- 16 pt. cardstock – gloss and matte
- 17 pt. cardstock – uncoated
Use thick cardstocks with a glossy finish for a vibrant look suited for modern brands. The matte finish gives a non-reflective yet elegant look that’s perfect for classic or luxurious clothing. If you want to go ultra-modern, choose the high gloss (UV) finish for a mirror-like shine that captures attention. Or go for an uncoated cardstock that gives off a natural, rustic vibe.
UPrinting's clothing hang tags come in a range of standard and custom sizes—from 2" x 2" to 8.5" x 11”. Choose between flat and folded options that you can use for a variety of garments from scarves to jackets. Since hang tags are versatile, you can also use them for small items such as accessories and jewelry, or large retail items such as sports equipment and camping gear.
Add hole drilling (in your choice of size and location) to easily attach it with a string to your products. Strings are not included in the order.

Yes, we currently offer double-sided printing for our clothing hang tags.
No, strings are not included, but you can add hole drilling to your order. This way, your hang tags are ready to display once you have twine or strings for hanging.
We offer two options for the hole drill: 1/8” and 3/16”. The hole is located on the top-left portion of the hang tag.

Customer Questions
Since these can be printed in our New Jersey facility, ground shipping to PA would be one day. Please be informed that we count the printing turnaround and shipping transit time separately. If you have a deadline for example for Monday, 27 January, we would advise you to place the order on 22 January before our cut off time of 5 PM Pacific Standard Time on a two day turnaround for printing. This will allow us to ship on Friday 24 January so you may receive it on Monday 27 January as Fedex does not count saturdays ansd sundays for ground shipping to a business address.
Also, please note we cannot start counting the printing turnaround time until we have reviewed your file and clear it for printing. Any file issues discovered by our Prepress Team that could impact the printing quality will need to be clarified with or possible replaced by the customer. This process will not count against the total printing turnaround time.
No, Strings are not included. You can select hole drilling but we do not supply these accessories.
We can print your barcode if it is part of the artwork. However, please request for a free proof so that you can scan it on your end to make sure it works before approving it for production. Also please make sure the file resolution is 250-300 DPI so it can be printed optimally.
If you send us a PDF file of your design in the correct size that you need and with at least a resolution of 300 DPI, we will print the items for you.
