Choose the Right Kind of Packaging

Our custom candle boxes come in single-layer cardstock or multi-layer corrugated cardboard. We recommend cardstock for lighter items, so if you’re selling tiny decorative candles or a small set of tea lights, the cardstock is the best choice.
For heavier candles such as votive candles, the corrugated cardboard is ideal. While the printed colors on cardboard are not as bright as when printing on cardstock, you can still design it to showcase your visual brand.
Prepare for Extreme Weather Conditions
Are you shipping your candles in the summer? Some pillars and votives can melt under extremely high temperatures, so make sure to prepare for that when you pack your candles. Some businesses choose to freeze their candles before shipping them out, but this can lead to deformity or cracking once the candle melts. To avoid this, you can use frozen gel packs to keep the products cool.
Take Care to Cushion Your Candles
Even when you’re using glass or tin containers to ship your candles, it doesn’t hurt to add an extra layer of protection to your packaging. Use bubble wrap or a corrugated bubble to prevent too much shifting while the products are in transit.

Yes, you can review your design before we proceed to the production stage. Just select the “I need a proof” option on the 3D Design Tool (or on the File Upload page for mailer envelopes and pouches). We will then email you a copy of the PDF proof for your review and approval.
I’m looking to design a box with specific dimensions, but it’s not available in your list of box sizes. Can I ask for a quote?
