“I very much appreciate the option of a free once-over, where alterations are applied as needed and then asked if they should be kept or not. This was my first time ordering from here, so my overall experience may differ if I order more, but the entire process to me was basically: 1. Me: *looking over the bookmark variations* Site: LOOK AT ALL THESE OPTIONS! WHAT WILL YOU PICK?! CHOOSE QUICKLY! YOU CAN RECEIVE IT IN 6 DAYS, OR LESS!!! 2. Me: *makes a few selections; changed my mind at the cart screen to get one design printed instead of more* Site: ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DO THAT? YOU CAN GET IT LOOKED AT FOR FREE! DID YOU KNOW IT WAS FREE, DESPITE IT BEING AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE? IT’S FREE! 3. Me: *goes with the freebie that requires 24 hours to happen before any payment is needed* Site: *sends email* HEY, YOU FORGOT TO PAY. THERE WILL BE DELAYS IF YOU DON’T PAY ASAP, JUST TO LET YOU KNOW. YOU FREEBIE REQUIRES PAYMENT 4. Me: Huh? But it’s free. I don’t want to buy anything before getting a preview. I’ll just wait the 24 hours 5. Site: Your preview is ready! PLEASE PAY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO PREVENT DELAYS, OKAY? THANKS. YOU FORGOT TO PAY, DID YOU KNOW THAT?!?! Me: *begins the checkout process, having it in mind to go with a 6 day delivery option...only it doesn’t exist and the next option is a 4 day delivery * Whoaaa whoa. There was mention of a 6 day delivery option, but it isn’t even selectable? A 4 day delivery turns my $13 order into nearly $40! I’ll just come back later. 6. Site: *sends email* You didn’t finish your order, by the way. You have an order that needs to be paid for. HURRY AND PAY NOW! PAY RIGHT NOW, OR RLSE THERE WILL BE POSSIBLE DELAYS OMG YOU BETTER PAY NOW OR WE WON’T STOP REMINDING YOU!! 7. Me: *finally pays* Fine, fine! The preview looked fantastic, so let’s see what the actual bookmarks are like in person. It’ll only be a 4 day wait. Site: Why, thank you~ We will ship your order, very soon!!!! 8. Nearly 2 and a half weeks later, the bookmarks arrive, despite being shipped from within the US. Me: So much for the 4 days. The quality is amazing, tho. I just wish that shipping wasn’t so much. Can’t there be a $5-7 shipping option? Chances are, I’ll try these guys again, sometime to see if the shipping time will actually be 4 days and I just was the one who messed up, or if it actually is a 2+ week process all along. But what does it matter, if I’m reviewing with 5 stars, anyway, along with a recommendation? That’ll look good, no matter what my initial experience was like haha”
