Large Format Posters That Showcase the Best in Your Business

Large format posters showcase your business at a major event such as a trade show or weekend pop-up market. You can also decorate your store with posters of your most stunning work. Wherever you decide to display your large format posters, you can print the visuals in the best size, and they will come out in a high-quality resolution. Choose from our standard large dimensions or pick a size that fits your needs.

What Sizes Can I Choose From?

We offer a wide range of large format dimensions, such as these three popular sizes:

    • 24” x 36” is ideal for promoting big events such as concerts or showcasing new products or services. This is the largest available size for indoor use.
    • 18” x 24” is small enough to be displayed indoors but provides ample space for colorful, visual designs or helpful infographics. You commonly see these displayed in offices, clinics, and other indoor public areas.
    • 16” x 20” is our largest size among the smaller dimensions. It’s ideal for displaying artwork or photographs in your store or at a gallery.

Note: Custom sizes are available for customers with specific needs.

What Is the Advantage of Using Photo Paper and Styrene?

Our photo poster material brings out every detail in your large prints. Choose from two gloss finishes that enhance your design’s appearance.

    • Semi-gloss brightens every hue. It’s perfect for large posters that balance large images with text.
    • High gloss works best on large posters of high-end photographs and art. The colors come out extra vibrant and intensify the detail of the printed work.

You can also have your large-format printing done on 20 mil. styrene, which offers several advantages:

    • Durable enough for long-term indoor use
    • Flexible enough to be rolled for storage or shipping
    • Waterproof nature allows you to display it outdoors temporarily

How Can I Design an Effective Poster?

For your large format poster to be a success, you need a compelling design that clearly communicates what you want to say. Here are a couple of design tips to keep in mind while creating your custom posters:

    • Stick to one point. You need to capture and sustain a customer’s attention. Avoid cluttering the design with too many elements. Stick to a central image or graphic. Don’t forget branding elements like your logo, and include only the necessary information.
    • Go the distance. Keep in mind that the poster will first be viewed from afar. Study how the colors appear from a distance and check if the combination creates the wrong impression. Cut down on shades and use complementary hues to keep things easy on the eyes.

Q:
I am looking for a poster that will be put for a party that’s 7 ft by 4 ft. Is it possible that it can be printed out? And also does the image quality matter?
Asked 2 hours ago by Jackie
A:

That size is doable. If you check the Size options on the product page for Large Format posters, you may click on Custom and manually input 84" x 48".  When it comes to the quality of the image, two factors  will impact how good the final output will be. First one is resolution. We normally advise to have resolution between 200-300 DPI for best results. The second factor is the printed size of the image. Even if the resolution is good, if the printed size cannot be enlarged to the size you need, images may become blurry or warped.

We can however, check your file first before you make payment. We offer a free PDF proof so you can check the quality of the printing before the job goes to production. After configuring the size and material you need, click on the "Start with a Free Proof" link so you can upload your file and our Prepress Specialists will review it. You will receive a PDF proof which you can view on your PC or laptop if the file is ok to be enlarged and we will point out the issues for consideration. If it is not printable, we will advise you on the issues found and what you need to do to get it print ready.

Q:
I am looking to have three posters made that will be framed that are 30“ x 60“. I am looking at buying digital artwork from Etsy and having you print them. What specifically do I need to know to ask before proceeding. Anything specifically from Etsy?
Asked 4 days ago by Jamey M.
A:

If they are selling a digital file commercially, they will provide a width and height that we assume is the printed size. The main question to ask them is if you can print this in high resolution for a large format print in the size you need.  If they are advertising it in its printed size which is close or exactly to the size you need, that would be a good start.  People selling these files will insist they are high resolution and they probably are. However,  when we resize it to the exact size you need, the resolution could become blurry as the original printed size of your file could be for a smaller picture. That would be the worst case scenario.

On our end, we would like to see the file first and advise you if it is good for printing. However, they will obviously not give it to you for checking since digital files can be easily saved and copied. Perhaps you can purchase one image first, upload it to our site in the size you need printed and we can give you a free proof so you can be sure the file is good to print.

Q:
DO YOU HAVE LOOSE LEAF INSERTS THAT CAN DISPLAY 4X6 INCH PHOTOS?
Asked 16 days ago by Gale P.
A:

4" x 6" inserts would fall under our Standard Postcard size but these have a minimum order quantity of 25 pieces which would be printed on a digital press rather than offset.

Q:
Do you use AI to enhance photo images?
Asked 19 days ago by frankenberg j.
A:

No we dont. As a policy, we leave it to the customer to submit the correct size and resolution (which should be at least 250-300 DPI). If the files may be edited to meet our printing requirements, our live graphic teams will try to adjust the artwork and send the customer a PDF proof to point out the edits/changes made. If these changes would be acceptable, the customer will need to approve before the job goes to production.

Q:
iwould like a poster of a plant thats legal in california, is your company open to this?
Asked a month ago by juan
A:

This should be ok. However, you can upload the file first and request for a free proof so we can run it by our Production Manager just to make sure we are not violating any printing/community guidelines.  Click on "Start with a Free Proof" so that you will not be asked to place the order. If the proof is ok, then you need to approve and make payment so that it goes to production.
