Car magnets serve as your business card on the road. These auto signs are printed on a 30 pt. magnetic stock that sticks firmly and seamlessly to any vehicle, giving it a custom-painted look.

How to Install Car Magnets
Installing car magnets takes only a couple of minutes. Before using them, find the best spot where customers will see your advertisements. Car magnets are usually installed in two places:
- Side of the vehicle – Side placement makes it easy for customers to see your magnetic sign while your vehicle is parked on the street.
- Back of the vehicle – If your vehicle is on the move, back placement lets the drivers behind you to see your message.
Now it’s time to put the magnets in place. Here’s how to do it:
- Before installing, place the magnet on a flat magnetic surface for at least 24 hours to flatten it.
- Wipe the vehicle surface and back of the magnet with a wet cloth and detergent. Let dry.
- Place one end of the magnet in the desired position. Line up the other edge of the magnet, making sure that it’s flat against the metal surface.
Note: Make sure that the vehicle surface is flat and entirely metal where the magnet will be placed. Avoid installing on surfaces where there are protrusions (molding, decals, pinstripes, etc) because these will prevent the magnet from sticking securely to your vehicle.
Extend the Life of Car Magnets
Magnetic car signs are durable, but with proper care, you can use these signs for as long as two (2) years.
When cleaning your vehicle, remove the magnet to clean debris from the vehicle surface. This will help extend the magnetic hold of the magnet and prevent any damage to the car sign.
If you will not be using the car magnets for a long period, store them flat and away from direct sunlight.

We can't guarantee that the Magnet will stay in it's place if it is pushed or brushed against consistently specially with a little pressure or force. Please consider our Floor Graphics which can come in both Vinyl and Aluminum Foil Material. This is more suitable for foot traffic and can adhere to most surfaces as long as they are smooth and even.
Yes, this would be a viable option. It would depend on the size you need, quantity and how you would use it. Car Magnets are designed for outdoor conditions and have a thick 30 Pt Magnetic stock to ensure it adheres to the metal vehicle surface. Another option if you only need it to be a maximum of 12" x 12" are the Refrigerator Magnets which are designed for indoor use and have a 17 Pt Magnetic High Gloss Material.
Using a business card file for a large sign like a Car Magnet does not always work as enlarging or stretching oit may warp some of the areas. You may wish to recreate the file using "Create Your Design Online" feature as you can select from a wide number of fonts and sizes to be more proportional. There are also a lot of images you can choose from to replicate the line of business or themes. It would help also if you have a soft copy of the logo you wish to use so you can insert it into your design.
We only print based on the "Quantity" on the Configure and Price section and that one quantity indicates just one piece.
It is possible but it will depend on your file and the size of the car magnets you want. If the file is not high resolution, images and text may be warped or stretched. It is also very easy to replicate the Business Card in the correct size by using the "Create Your Design Online" option after you set up your order in the Configure and Price Section in the Car Magnet product page. This will allow you to insert text and a copy of your logo (if you have a soft copy of this).
