Maximize High-Quality, Organized Brochure Printing

Choosing the Best Material for Your Booklet

Custom Printed Booklet

Enhancing your booklet’s appearance and durability starts with choosing the right materials for the cover and inside pages. For the cover, you have several options. Use 80 and 100 lb. paper gloss for short-term use and promotional materials. For professional presentations and high-end brochures, opt for 10 pt. cardstock. For more durable booklets like annual reports, 14 pt. cardstock is the perfect option. And if you desire top-notch, long-lasting booklets, look no further than 16 pt. cardstock. With the right materials, your booklet will truly stand out!

For the inside pages, 70 lb. paper uncoated works well for text-heavy booklets like manuals. Choose 80 lb. paper for image-heavy booklets to enhance colors. For a variety of finishes, use 100 lb. paper. For high-quality, durable pages in premium booklets, 10 pt. cardstock is ideal. Depending on your needs, you might prefer a matte finish for a sophisticated look or a gloss finish to make colors vibrant.

I ordered booklets....
April 6, 2016 by CLCalex
“I ordered booklets. Each booklet had a pen mark that appeared on every page 2 of 1,000 booklets. I was asked to photograph each book. A few of the booklets had grease on the covers. Just lack of attention to detail. The color and quality seemed good though if it wasn't for these other problems. Customer service helped fix the problem.”
Terrible customer service....
February 17, 2022 by Brett Baggett
“Terrible customer service. I was not contacted via call, text, email OR alert on my UPrinting profile even though my order was on hold for more than a week, which resulted in me missing my deadline for a conference I printed these booklets for. When I called and talked to customer service representatives, they did absolutely nothing to ensure I got the booklets any faster to make up for the delay that was completely U Printings fault.”
The product itself...
January 28, 2022 by Stephanie M
“The product itself is fine. It came out as expected. They however didn't ship them until a whole MONTH after I ordered. The estimated delivery date was December 30, 2021. They created the shipping label on January 14, 2022. After I contacted them multiple times asking why my order was taking so long (with no answers and no follow-up emails from them like they said), I let them know we had to have the order by January 20. They said they made a note and that our order would ship 2-day freight. Come to find out they shipped it Economy and it was scheduled to delivery January 25! 5 days after we had to have them! So we had to work with FedEx and intercept the delivery so we could pick them up on January 21. It was beyond frustrating and the worst customer experience ever. They messed up and didn't do anything about it. Makes me want to never use them again! The whole "1-2 days delay" banner they have on their website is a lie. Add at least a month to their estimated delivery date so you're not severely disappointed. Or better yet, find a better company.”

“My order was late and now I have 250 books that never got distributed. I requested a refund and was never told if it was approved. Payed for expedited service and it was still late. A waste of hundreds of dollars.”
Unfortunately not what...

Q:
For a Saddle-Stitched booklet should I export my pdf as single pages or as a spread?
Asked 14 days ago by Raymond G.
A:

You may send this either way. It is important to have the correct pagination and for multi page jobs we do send back a free PDF proof automatically so you may check if it is presented correctly.

Q:
why can't i order 46 booklets
Asked a month ago by Betsy S.
A:

If you go to our Short Run Booklets, there are options for 45 and 50 booklets. We can do 46 but our Custom Department will have to price that for you. Please create an account online and add an item to cart for 45 booklets. Give us a call and speak to a Custom Representative so they can covert that to a quote with the exact quantity you need.

Q:
Hi, is there a hard cover option?
Asked a month ago by Jade
A:

As it stands it is not a standard option. However, we can get this done as a Custom job. Please create an account online and add your specifications to cart (using the standard cardstock cover). Once you have this, please give us a call to speak to a Custom Representative so they can submit a formal quote based on your specifications.

Q:
For an 8.5x11 booklet should the file be formatted to spread 8.5x 22?
Asked 3 months ago by Keesha G.
A:

If 8.5" x 11" is the folded size and you are turning the pages right to left on the shorter side, the flat (unfolded) size should be 11" x 17" and typically means the orientation of your artwork is "Portrait". If you are designing your booklet to open on the longer side (11") , this would be the "Landscape" orientation and would measure 8.5" x 22" unfolded.

Q:
Is there an uncoated interior paper option available?
Asked 3 months ago by Sarah
A:

Yes. When you set up the order on the Booklet Product page, under the "Paper for Inside Pages" option, please select the 70 lb Paper Uncoated. If you wish to use a thicker pape stock, we could possible set this up as a Custom Order. Please create an account on the website and give us a call to speak to a Custom Representative to get a quote.
