“This product printed drab, not vibrant as file. Maybe it was the paper stock or just the printer calibration. Please reprint in better quality.”

“I used the contact form on the website as well with no response. My envelopes get progressively more misaligned as I go through the batch. By the end, the logo is off the front and the address has crept up toward the middle. Very unhappy and would like them redone.”

“I ordered 5,000 custom envelopes and received about 4,800. That was disappointing, but not a total deal-breaker. About twenty of the envelopes we DID receive were stuck together / double-printed and unusable. Again, disappointing, but not a deal-breaker. However, the custom design was supposed to cover the entire front of the envelope, and every 10 envelopes or so that design was printed off bit by bit until there were white borders on random envelopes throughout the entire batch. One of these three things is easily dealt with. All three with the same order was a huge letdown. I recommend spending a little more to get a higher quality product somewhere else.”

Q:
Are these envelopes machineable/safe to use through a mail house machine for inserts?
Asked a year ago by Tiffany
A:

These are standard #10 envelopes which should be ok for printing on. The best way is to order our free Standard Offset Sample Kit and leave a note to include the #10 so you can test it on your end.

Q:
Do any of your templates have actual guides in them? All of the ones I have downloaded for Illustrator only have an image of the product shape, no guides or assets to snap to.
Asked a year ago by Claire
A:

The templates available only have the dotted line inside of the rectangular shape that indicates the safe zone which all of your artwork must be inside of. The One Color envelopes do not allow for a full bleed and all artwork must be 0.0625" from the edges.  The Full Color envelopes do allow for a bleed and you can extend  the artwork 0.125" outside the trim line for the artwork to go to the edge.

Q:
I would like to custom order envelopes #10 (4.125" x 9.5"). I have examples of what I would like printed on the front. Can you design and send me a proof to order. I would like 1,000. Please respond to email for me to send my example files.
Asked a year ago by Jonathon S.
A:

We can do certainly design and print your envelope. However, we would need you to please create an account first on the website and contact us through voice or chat so our Agents can brief you on the process and design fees.

Q:
Can I have a design printed on the back flap? Also, my design is a single color - #231f20 - but since it's not true black, do we need to pay the price for full color printing? Thanks!
Asked 2 years ago by John S.
A:

You can have printing on the flap but not on the inside of the flap. When you select 1 color, we will use the black that is configured to our system which should be 100% black. If you wish for the colors to be closer to yours, it would be better to choose full color. However, we use a CMYK format so we would advise you to first convert your color to CMYK and then adjust to the appropriate shade of black.

Q:
For printing, is 1 color in addition to black? Or is black one color and if we have Yellow and Black, it would be "full color" printing rather than 1 color printing
Asked 2 years ago by Emmelyn P.
A:

We do full color printing and the cost would be the same if your artwork is in black and white only as against being in full color. Four color printing would refer to the CMYK color system used to produce full color prints.
