Painted Edge Business Card FAQs

How thick is a 32 pt. cardstock?

32 pt. cardstock is slightly thicker than a credit card. The thick material allows colors to stand out, even when your cards are stacked among other cards.

Do I need to set up my files differently?

No, the file setup is the same as with standard business cards. However, you might want to choose your cards’ edge color carefully. Make sure that the color reflects your brand and does not clash with the other colors in your design.

Can I print on both sides of the cards?

Yes, you can choose double-sided or Front and Back printing for your painted edge business cards.

“The print on my business card is too small. I wish UPrinting.com used templates so you can better gauge how large/small intended print is. Also, despite paying $60 or $70 extra to expedite, I still didn't get them on time. And I spoke with two different customer service representatives who assured me I would.”

“THe quality of the stock was good, but the image resolution was low and the paint on the side of the cards comes off on paper or clothing. These cards are unusable. I can't give someone a card where the ink will come off on their hands or clothing.”
